RF filters and
microwave filters are devices that pass or reject signals by
frequency. Basic types
include bandpass filters, band reject filters, low
pass filters, and high
pass filters.
RF lowpass

RF high pass filters pass
signals from high frequencies and reject signals
from low frequencies.
RF bandpass filters
RF band pass filters
are active or passive circuits that pass
signals from a
specific frequency band and reject signals from out-
of-band
frequencies. Surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters, crystal filters,
and cavity filters
are types of band pass filters.

Power-Tech DIPLEXERS
Diplexers are three-port
frequency-dependent devices that may be
used as a separator or a
combiner of signals. The device consists of two
fixed tuned bandpass
filters sharing a common port. The commonport and
the output of the two
filters (RX and TX) form the three terminals of the
diplexer. Duplexers allow
atransmitter operating on one frequency and a
receiver operating On a
different frequency to share one common antenna
with a minimum of
interaction and degradation of the different RF signals.

Power-Tech REPEATER
A network device used to regenerate or replicate a signal. Repeaters
are
used in transmission systems to regenerate analogor digital signals
distorted
by transmission loss. Analog repeaters frequently can only
amplify
the signal while digital repeaters can reconstruct a signal to
near its original quality.
In a data network, a
repeater can relay messages between sub
networks that use
differentprotocols or cable types.Hubs can
operate as repeaters by
relaying messages to all connected
computers.

Power-Tech LNA’S
The low-noise amplifier (LNA) is a special type
of electronic amplifier
or amplifier used in communication systems to
amplify very weak signals captured
by an antenna. It is often located very
close to the antenna, so that losses
in the feedline
become less critical.
Thisactive
antenna arrangement is frequently used in microwave
systems like GPS,
because coaxial
cable feedline is very lossy at microwave
frequencies.
Using an LNA, the noise of all the subsequent stages
is reduced by the
gain
of the LNA, while the noise of the LNA itself is injected directly into the
received
signal. Thus, it is necessary for an LNA
to boost the desired signal
power
while adding as little noise and distortion as possible so that the
retrieval
of this signal is possible in the later stages in the system.
